An ditched the car in the river, not before they'd pinched bikes. Then they peddled across country in search for a place to hide. #TeQu 15.1

Many people kept country residences. It was in one of these they sought refuge, one with no alarm system but a stock of food. #TeQu 15.2

"Why did he say Innova was not a girl?" Sally asked. It didn't make sense. "Why had he said I was not one of them? One of whom?" #TeQu 15.3

The man had hinted that Innova was something other than a girl and that they might also be akin to her. But what could that be? #TeQu 15.4
